You will have security and peace of mind through the support and assistance of a live in carer staying with you in the familiar surroundings of your own home. We are privileged to help individuals and couples with all the care and support services that they need to continue living in a way that suits them and their families.
Sunshine Care provides 24 hour care in your local area. We are able to supply you with a care support worker or Personal Assistant to live with you in your home. This companionship will keep you independent and mentally stimulated, especially if you choose a live in Carer who will stay with you a number of weeks.

Free Care Assessment in Hampshire
After the initial contact, we will visit you in your own home in Hampshire, or in hospital, to assess your live in care needs. A consultant from our Live in Care Hampshire team will come to you at your convenience; and together with you, will make a list of your care requirements.
We will review your medical conditions, your medication, your support needs, nutrition and diet preferences, live in carer accommodation, etc.

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire
This local group is part of a network of 144 Carer Centres in the UK. The network is co-ordinated by The Carers Trust. They have carers hubs in Aldershot, Alton. Basingstoke, Farnborough, Fleet and Yateley.
This group is a carer led charity that offers support for unpaid carers living anywhere in Hampshire, including Southampton and Portsmouth.
Age Concern Hampshire
As a member of the Dementia Action Alliance, this group of organisations across England is committed to transforming the lives of people with dementia and those that care for them.
They have 13 Day Care centres providing specialist care and stimulating activities for people with dementia from highly-trained staff each week at locations across the county.
Portsmouth Heart Group & Isle of Wight Heart Care Club
The British Heart Foundation has nearly 300 affiliated Heart Support Groups for patients and carers across England and Wales. They offer a friendly and mutually supportive environment.
Activities in Hampshire

We will aid in getting you out and about if you choose to; ensuring you can visit some of your favourite places such as Marwell Zoo, Winchester Cathedral, Exbury Gardens, New Forest Park and Beaulieu National Motor Museum. Our care workers support hundreds of elderly people, caring for them and enabling them to stay independent, assisting them with their daily routine. For those with learning or physical disabilities, your live in carer or support worker can accompany you as you go about your daily life.
As needs and interests change our live-in care staff will adapt the support to what is required. They will not take over things that you can and want to do yourself. Our live in carers will undertake, within reason, whatever you and your family want and need them to help with. You will find that many of our support workers have a driving licence and have their own cars.
If you have a car they can help you with travel to and from social events, day centres, work or college. You remain completely in control at all times.
