After the initial contact, we will visit you in your own home or in hospital, or elsewhere if needed, to assess your care needs. One of our regional assessors will come to you at your convenience; and in consultation with you, make a list of your live in care requirements.
It will be good to see you in your own home, so that we can help to make you as comfortable as possible during your care. We can view with you your medication list, any disabilities, what you like to eat, where the carer will stay etc. You might have pets which need caring for and that is fine too.
We know that deciding to find a live in carer to live in your home is sometimes difficult to entertain. However, a live in care assessment lets us both get a full picture of your individual care needs. We can then build the right care plan for you. It also helps us to handpick the right carer for you. Someone who can fully meet your care requirements. We will send you suitable Carer Profiles so that you can choose who is also a good personality match for you and your lifestyle.
