Sunshine Care employees undergo a four day INDUCTION TRAINING COURSE. This includes practical care practice, manual handling and transference, first aid, fire safety, abuse awareness, food hygiene and health and safety. New staff are also given the opportunity to shadow experienced carers to ensure that they meet the same high standards expected of the company.
Our care workers are encouraged to enrol on NVQ 2 in Care courses. Because we provide this training free of charge most staff are willing to improve their skills and dedicate their time to achieving this valuable qualification. Some will use their spare time on assignment to study and write their essays. A few of our care staff continue on to achieve NVQ 3 and above.
